A Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is being organised in Garelochhead by Helensburgh and Lomond Carers this month.
Fun for all the family is promised at the event on Sunday April 14, with afternoon tea and raffle for the adults and cupcake decorating, glitter tattoos, themed games, a bouncy castle – and of course a competition for mad hats.
“This will be our first mad hatter’s tea party,” said support worker Ashley McVey,pictured (left) with fellow hosts Leeanne DeVenny and Alison Fletcher.
“And we want to get as many families to get involved as possible.
“We are hoping that all the mad hats may be a family effort made before the event, but don’t worry if you haven’t managed to make one – you can make one on the day.
“We are very excited to welcome families from Helensburgh and Lomond and beyond, and hope they have as much fun on the day as we have had putting it all together.”
The event runs from 12 noon to 2.30pm in Centre 81 and entry is £2 for adults and £3 for children.
