Grassroots sports campaigner, Strictly contestant, tennis coach and mum to Andy and Jamie – Judy Murray will be returninghttp://www.coveburghhall.org.uk to Cove Burgh Hall this weekend.
Copies of her first novel The Wild Card will be available on the day and she will be happy to sign them.
Best known as the mum of grand slam-winning sons, Judy was a distinguished tennis player in her own right, as a former Scottish international with 64 titles to her name.
She became Scottish national coach in 1995, the same year that she became the first woman to pass the Lawn Tennis Association’s performance coach award, and initiated the Scottish National Development Schools programme targeting children age eight to 11, which ultimately produced four Davis Cup players and one Fed Cup player.
Doors will open at 11.30am on Sunday and the chat with Judy begins 12 noon.
Tickets, which are £10 including a soup and roll lunch, are available at the hall website.
