Living Well project planned for Argyll and Bute

Wellbeing support workers will be based in Helensburgh as part of a new Living Well programme across Argyll and Bute.

Due to be launched early next year, the initiative will also include one-to-one support from specialist rehabilitation support workers in NHS physio departments.

Linda Currie, associate director for allied health professionals for Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), said:  “I am excited to be part of the team implementing the wellbeing pathways.

“I want to thank our partners for working with us collaboratively and look forward to the service being launched for people across Argyll and Bute.”

The programme currently has funding from the HSCP, Macmillan Cancer Care, and Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface.

Support workers will also be based in Dunoon, Oban, Rothesay, Campbeltown and mid-Argyll.
