Breakfast bid for Kilcreggan pub

The Creggans Inn in Kilcreggan has applied to change its opening hours and age restrictions.

Cove and Kilcreggan Community Council heard last night that the pub wanted to serve breakfasts without alcohol, and to extend the official age range for functions so that children accompanied by a responsible adult could be there until 10pm on specific occasions.

Christine Murdoch, the community council’s licensing representative, said that the licensing hours for alcohol would not change.

Former chair Nick Davies said: “The Creggans is a well-run pub, I wouldn’t have any objection.”

Rev Murdoch will write to Argyll and Bute Council’s licensing board saying there was no objection.
