Daily hire of e-bikes is now available on the Rosneath Peninsula.
The Pedalling Peninsula project was launched 12 months ago, with five bikes available to hire for a month at a time.
Now organisers say that many local people have been able to try the bikes, so they have expanded it to include daily rentals.
Monthly rentals are still available, at £60 for Rosneath Peninsula residents, compared to £30 when the scheme was launched.
The rate for non-locals will be £15 per day, while a cargo bike can be rented for £20 a day.
In 2019 Rosneath Peninsula West Community Development Trust secured funding worth £21,800 from the Energy Saving Trust for the project, which is now run by Innovate Rural.
