Firefighters in Garelochhead are holding a charity car wash and race night next month.
The car wash by the local crew in aid of The Firefighters Charity will be at the fire station from 10am to 2pm on Saturday July 8.
The that evening the Anchor Inn has offered to host a race night for the same cause, with the first race starting at 8pm
A host of local business have donated prizes for a raffle on the night including dinner for two at the Anchor Inn, vouchers for hairdressers, cakes, a boiler service, photography and a free sweep of a chimney.
Watch commander Jamie Bailey said: “Thank you to all local businesses that have contributed so far, it is very much appreciated!
“A great event for a great cause – and also a great event to pull our great community together.”
