A late night assault in Helensburgh is being investigated by police.
The incident happened in Hermitage Park at 11.20pm last night, when a 20 year-old man was approached by a group of seven people and assaulted.
He was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment and was later discharged.
Detective Constable of Police Scotland said Ross Gemmell said: “Our inquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have information to get in touch with officers.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0096 of 19 February, 2023.
“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
