Helensburgh Christmas shop named Scotland’s best

A Helensburgh shop has been named the best of its kind in Scotland in awards which were announced this week.

The Olde Christmas Shoppe on West Clyde Street was dubbed Scotland’s best Christmas gift shop in the UK Enterprise Awards.

Owner Toni Taylor – pictured with Claire Steven wearing Christmas jumpers despite the sunny weather – said: “It’s such a good feeling getting recognised nationally for the great service and selection we provide locally.

“It’s always great to be Scotland’s best!”

Now in their sixth year and organised by SME News, the awards cover businesses and industries from all over the UK.

A spokesperson said: “In the face of unprecedented hardship and uncertainty, UK business owners have demonstrated the upmost dedication and innovation in the ways that they have not only adapted but weathered the Covid-19 storm to ensure the survival of their businesses.”
