Patients and staff gathered in Kilcreggan yesterday to bid farewell to Dr Donal Murray.
The GP, who has been at Kilcreggan Medical Centre for five and a half years, is moving to Jersey with his family.
And the community turned out yesterday to express their appreciation for his work, which included covering the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr Oliver Corbett and all the clinical and admin staff will remain in place and the practice will be looked after by Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) until a new GP takes ownership of the practice.
