Cream teas for a good cause in Clynder

A cream tea and exhibition in aid of Help for Heroes is being on the Rosneath Peninsula later this month.

Alison Murray and her family are hosting the event at Elmbank on Shore Road in Clynder on Saturday June 25.

Tea and scones will be served in the garden – or under a dome if the weather is poor – from 12 noon to 5pm.

There is no fee but donations are welcome, with all proceeds from the teas going to the charity which helps people who have been physically or psychologically injured while erving in the armed forces.

Stained and fused glass art work by Cass Peters, a local artist who is currently working on a commission for Dundee Botanical Gardens, will be on display indoors.
