Stage set for Peninsula Choir comeback concert

The re-formed Peninsula Choir will soon be staging its long-awaited comeback concert.

A planned Afternoon of Song’ had to be cancelled in December due to Covid-19, but the  choir will be singing again in an afternoon concert in Cove Burgh Hall on Sunday May 1.

This will be the choir’s first public appearance with its new musical director, Moira Frize-Williams, and the choir will be joined by several guest artists including the well-known Sian Winstanley, musical director of the Dorian Choir.

Doors will be open from 2.30 for a 3pm start.

Admission is by donation with half the proceeds going to Ukraine charities.

Tea or coffee and cake will be served at the interval.
