Roo Irvine reveals new TV role and appearances

Antiques expert Arusha ‘Roo’ Irvine has been named as a new member of the presenting team on the BBC’s Bargain Hunt.

And Roo, who runs Kilcreggan Antiques, will also be appearing on Mastermind and Celebrity Pointless.

After her shop appeared as one of the venues on Antiques Road Trip Roo was chosen to be an expert on both the road trip and its celebrity stablemate.

She then became an expert on Bargain Hunt and this week it was confirmed she will also be a presenter on that programme.

“I’m so proud and honoured to be joining the fantastic team of presenters at Bargain Hunt,” she said today.

“Having been part of the Bargain Hunt Family since February 2019, I am delighted to be taking this next step.

Earlier this month Roo filmed Celebrity Pointless, which will go on air next spring.

And she will also appear on Mastermind over the festive period – Roo has two Maine Coons, Mango and Kimchi, and her specialist subject was pedigree cat breeds.
