Staff at Morrisons’ Helensburgh store raised over £1,300 for charity last month.
Alistair Maule, Calum Darroch, Robert Murphy and Lewis Wilkie raised £325 from their ‘Backshift Boys’ performance for Comic Relief, wile a sponge-throwing session in the car park raised another £154 for the same cause.
And a team of 30 colleagues walked over 11.5 million steps in March, to raise funds for the Clic Sargent cancer charity, raising £840.
The store’s community champion Alison Sturgeon said: “We are very grateful for the support from our community.
“I will apply to the Morrisons Foundation for match funding, which means we will double the figure for Clic Sargent.”
