Waverley’s short season of cruises on the Clyde has been extended and she will now operate until Saturday September 12.

Demand for tickets on the historic paddle steamer has been high, with most sailings sold out, given the significant reduction in capacity to allow for physical distancing.

Operators Waverley Excursions today announced: “We are therefore extending the season to give those who were unable to book earlier the opportunity to sail on Waverley this year.

“The extra sailings will operate from Tuesday September 8 until Saturday September 12.”

The Waverley will now call at Kilcreggan on Friday September 11 as well as September 4, sailing to Rothesay on both occasions.

Early booking is recommended.  Tickets for the extra sailings are now on sale online at www.waverleyexcursions.co.uk . All tickets must be booked in advance.
