Driver charged after Rest and Be Thankful incident

A man has been charged after an alleged road rage incident on the Rest and Be Thankful.

Police appealed for witnesses who had been on the A82 and A83 after a woman was injured and needed hospital treatment following the incident last Friday.

Today Police Scotland said: “Roads policing officers at Dunoon would like to extend thanks to the public for their help in tracing the driver of an Audi S3.

“A 27 year-old Glasgow man has been traced and charged.

“He will be the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.”
