There will be a candlelight performance of Perennial Christmas favourite Handel’s Messiah in Helensburgh next month.
Helensburgh Oratorio Choir is staging the baroque masterpiece, with a full orchestra and professional soloists, in Helensburgh Parish Church at 7.30pm on Sunday December 15,
Susannah Wapshott will be conductor and Justine Watts leader, with soprano Sarah Power, alto Katie Grosset, tenor David Lyn and bass Phil Gault.
Tickets cost £12 (£6 for students and £2 for under-16s) are available from choir members, the church office and the Scandinavian Shop in Sinclair Street.
