A Christmas card sale in aid of lifeboats is being held this weekend.
The Cove and Kilcreggan branch of the RNLI will hold the annual Christmas Card Sale from 2-4pm at Cove Sailing Club on Saturday November 2.
Entry is £3, which includes refreshments including British and German delights.
As well as the charity’s ever popular cards, there will be other RNLI goods on sale, all of which make perfect gifts and stocking fillers.
Of course, these events would not be complete without a tearoom, though this one will have a particularly festive feel – alongside your tea or coffee, there’ll be mince pies, shortbread, Lebkuchen and other Christmassy treats to tempt the taste buds.
And those attending can also have a go at the raffle, with some great prizes on offer, and, to round it all off, you can take some handmade delights home with you from the baking stall – any donations for this would be welcomed; they can be dropped off on the day.
All proceeds from the sale go towards supporting the lifesaving work undertaken by the RNLI’s lifeboat crews across the UK, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in all weathers.
