Roads through Helensburgh, Rhu and Shandon will be busier than usual this week, with the A817 Haul Road through Glen Fruin being closed.
The closure started today (Sunday) and are due to last for five days between 8:30am and 4pm each while the road is resurfaced.
Argyll and Bute Council says the diversion will be via the A82, A818 Black Hill Road, West Montrose Street and the A814.
A market for Christian Aid funds is being held on Saturday (May 19) from 10.30 to 12.30 at Cove Burgh Hall.
A Royal Wedding morning tea and coffee will be on offer, with stalls including baking, tombola, books, jewellery, plants and a raffle for luxury hampers.
All money raised will go to Christian Aid to help tackle the root causes of poverty and disaster relief all over the world.
