Helensburgh battered by storms

Storm Frank was battering Helensburgh today – these pictures were taken an hour before high tide was due at 3.22.

The pier car park was flooded, with drivers rushing to rescue their cars – many of which seemed to belong to a well-known car dealership.

Trains are now running again from Helensburgh Central, but Scotrail are advising passengers not to travel.

In Kilcreggan, Fiona Holland caught this shot of waves crashing over the sea wall on Shore Road.
