UPDATE: The school says that power was restored on Thursday afternoon and the building will be open as usual today (Thursday).
All pupils at Hermitage Academy in Helensburgh were sent home today after a power cut.
Argyll and Bute Council said the decision was taken at 1pm, with text messages being sent to parents and carers.
No information about the problem is currently available from Scottish Power.
