Dance night to help £100,000 Craigrownie Park campaign

A dance, auction and raffle night is being held next month to help the restoration campaign for Craigrownie Park in Cove.

The event on Friday August 28 in Cove Burgh Hall is being organised by Rosneath Peninsula West Community Development Trust to help the fund which has already raised £70,000 towards its target of £100,000.

The event will feature live music from Harmonica Lewinsky, free tapas provided by Helensburgh’s La Barca and a licensed bar.

Tickets are £15 each or £120 for a table of eight – only five of the 13 available tables are left though, as tickets are selling fast.rugby shirt

Auction and raffle items are still being finalised, but already include:

  • A signed and framed Glasgow Warriors rugby shirt (pictured)
  • Four-ball vouchers at various golf courses including Helensburgh, Cardross, Cowal and Oban,
  • Two nights plus breakfast for two in the Jurys Inn Aberdeen
  • A Tom Tom satnav system
  • Car service and MOT test with Arnold Clark
  • Tour of Ibrox stadium for six people
