The volunteer team who run Cove Burgh Hall are launching a new version of their website, coveburghhall.org.uk , in January.
The new site will link with Facebook and Twitter and also include an area limited to Friends of the hall where financial information is available.
Local MSP Jackie Baillie attacked the SNP’s record on education after official figures revealed that the number of pupils in Scotland’s classrooms is on the rise.
In Argyll and Bute, the figures show that the proportion of P1-P3 children in classes of 18 pupils or less has fallen from a high of 48.8% in 2010 to 34.9% this year.
The Dumbarton constituency MSP said: “Local councils are doing the best they can to put educating our children first but the Scottish Government’s funding cuts are taking their toll on Scotland’s schools.”
A new bus shelter is planned for the A814 near the south gate of Faslane naval base.
The design of the shelter on the northbound side of the road will include lighting, Rhu and Shandon Community Council was told this month.
