Cunard’s Queen Anne to visit the Clyde this year

The cruise ship season on the Clyde starts this week – and in the summer it will feature the spectacular newest addition to the Cunard fleet.

Regal Princess, is due to arrive at Greenock at 7am on Friday – with capacity for 3,560 passengers it is the largest of the cruise ships to visit the port this year and will call there 14 times in total.

But the highlights of the summer look set to be two visits by Cunard’s Queen Anne, which only entered service this year.

The 322.5-metre vessel can accommodate almost 3,000 guests and 1,225 staff – she is the 249th ship to sail under the Cunard flag and marks the first time since 1999 that Cunard has had four ships at sea.

Queen Anne is due at Greenock on Saturday June 1 and Friday July 26, arriving early morning and leaving early evening on both occasions.

The full current timetable is here – all sailings are subject to change.
