An appeal for new committee members has been issued by Cove and Kilcreggan Literary Society, as members swot up fort their end of season quiz.
The peninsula group’s 2023-2 season has included talks ranging from the life of a vet to ‘Glasgow Boy’ artist E A Walton – as well as home-made wine.
And the final event, on Monday March 18, will be a quiz with questions set by Douglas and Alice Dow.
The society’s AGM will also be held that night, with anew committee being elected for the next 12 months.
A spoksperson said: “We do need new committee members to ensure a healthy future, so please let a committee member know of your interest or come along on the evening with a nomination or expression of interest.
“Committee meetings are usually monthly in the May to August period, they will be centred on obtaining interesting talks for the 2024 to 2025 season.”
The quiz and AGM will start at 8pm in Cove Burgh Hall.
