A crab fishing tournament will be held on Loch Long this summer, after the success of last year’s inaugural event
The 2024 Arrochar Crab Fishing Tournament will be held on Sunday June 2 at the Loch Long Jetty, starting at 10 am.
Last July the children taking part caught and released 730 crabs and organisers expect that number to be beaten this year.
Entry is £5 per child and includes net, bucket and bait, with all proceeds going to local good causes.
There will be a barbecue and prizegiving at 12.30.
Buoyancy aids will be available but all children must be supervised.
