Linedancers raised hundreds of pounds with a sponsored danceathon last weekend.
ReBoot Linedancing and Cove Line Dance group held the event in Cove Burgh Hall – then presented a cheque for £610 to the hall’s Graham Bell.
Organiser Colin Bateson said: “There were close to 30 taking part and also a handful of spectators.
“It went on for four hours with 40 dances in total.”
The burgh hall was opened in 1893 and since 2000 it has been run by a charitable company as a community asset.
The linedancers meet in the hall at 6pm on Wednesdays.
