Peninsula Choir set for winter concerts

The Peninsula Choir will be presenting its winter concert at 3pm on Sunday December 10 in Cove Burgh Hall.

The choir, pictured a concert last year, continues to go from strength to strength since the threat of being disbanded in 2021.

With numbers growing, the only disappointment in the group is the lack of tenor voices, so if you like to sing tenor, please go along and join in.

The concert programme will be an eclectic mix of traditional, with some more modern songs and we will be joined by guest artists – the well-known soprano Sian Winstanley and Alastair Caldwell on Ttumpet.

The choir will also be performing a repeat concert in Helensburgh United Reformed Church on Sunday December 17 at 3pm. Doors open for both concerts at 2.30pm and tickets are available at the door

Refreshments will be served at the interval of both concerts.
