Riding for disabled group looking for volunteers

New volunteers are being sought by The Gareloch and District Riding for the Disabled Association for both its riding and carriage driving activities.

“There are many different ways to help and support those who participate in our activities,” said organiser Elise Nash.

“It could be walking with a bit of a trot sometimes, cycling to accompany a carriage, grooming ponies or preparing for activities.”

It could also include organising equipment for sessions, or even making tea and coffee.

No previous experience of ponies is needed.

Activities take place at both Colgrain Equestrian Centre and Ardencaple Farm Livery Yard.
