Brewing up a real ale festival in Cove

The 20th Cove and Kilcreggan Real Ale Festival is set for Saturday September 23.

Always one of the highlights of the calendar on the Rosneath Peninsula, the popular event raises funds for its venue, the community-run Cove Burgh Hall.

As ever, there will be great beers and ciders on offer, as well as street food, live music throughout the day and a family-friendly area.

Dumbarton brewery No Limits Brewing is main sponsor again and the entry price, which includes two tokens (each worth half a pint), a branded festival glass and the tasting menu for the day, has remained at £10.

Musical entertainment will include The Windjammers, Joe Quinn and Robert Ryan.

The Creggans, Kilcreggan Garage, Cove and Kilcreggan Community Council, Ensign Motifs, Let’s Promote, Willie Bellshaw builders, Raymond Grieve and McIntyre Hire are also lending additional sponsorship and support to the event.

Anyone interested in supporting the event as a sponsor can contact organiser Martin Cox at schweiscox@tiscali.co.uk .

For more information see the hall website where tickets are now available – they can also be bought on the door.
