A new director has been appointed at Cove Park, it was announced today
Alexia Holt will lead the team the arts centre on the Rosneath Peninsula.
Alexia (right) has worked at Cove Park in a number of senior roles, most recently as senior director of programmes and, since July last year, as acting director.
Lauren Dyer Amazeen, chair of the board of directors, said: “The respect Alexia has earned within the cultural sector, together with her steady team leadership, intelligent process of building sustainable programmes and partnerships, and the care she takes to create a welcoming environment for the residents — all centred around our core values — are the strengths needed to steer Cove Park at this time.
“We are all delighted.”
Alexia is graduate of Glasgow University’s history of art department and also worked at Glasgow School of Art and the CCA whilst completing a PhD on early 20th century fashion design.
She has also been curator at Tramway in Glasgow and the Scottish Print Network.
