Waverley’s Kilcreggan sailings for 2023 confirmed

The Waverley will again call at Kilcreggan twice a week during her main summer season, it was revealed this week.

The dry dock appeal launched for the historic paddle steamer has now reached its £180,000 target, and sailings on the Clyde for 2023 have been confirmed.

From June 23 to August 27 the Waverley will call at Kilcreggan pier every Tuesday on her way to Blairmore and a cruise of Loch Goil and Loch Long

And with Helensburgh pier still closed to mariners the steamer will also visit Kilcreggan on alternate Thursdays, en route to Arran, and alternate Saturdays for a cruise to Tighnabruaich.

Her first sailings will be next month, when on Monday May 22 she will call at Kilcreggan for the first time, at 12 noon.

Bookings can now be made, and more details are available on the website.
