The Artist Patisserie in Helensburgh has won an award for its luxury sweet treats – and is in the running for a second honour.
The family business on Sinclair Street creates luxury afternoon teas as well as spectacular celebration cakes and a range of takeaway sweet treats
It was given the best luxury desserts in Scotland award for 2023 by Lux Life magazine, and has also been nominated in the Scottish Business Awards.
Maddie Militaru (pictured), who runs the business with her mum Gina and dad Julian, said: “We have been so grateful to receive this award and we wouldn’t be able to achieve this without the community support.
“On behalf of all of us we would like to thank everyone.
“As a family business we are very lucky to be based in Helensburgh where the locals always support us and appreciate our hard work and we couldn’t have asked for a better place for our business to be located in and showcase our skills by cheering everyone up with a little treat.”
Gina and Julian are pastry chefs with years of experience in five-star hotels, while Maddie has worked as a manager at hotels and restaurants including Cameron House and Martin Wishart.
