Submarine museum plans Santa experience

Santa Claus is coming to Helensburgh this weekend – via a submarine.

The sleepy undersea town of Coral Cove has been created in the town’s submarine museum and visitors are promised a unique interactive experience.

Santa is borrowing the submarine which is on display in the West King Street museum and together with his elves is planning an enchanted journey.

The magical event will use 360-degree projections on all the walls and onto the submarine itself to create an animated underwater festive world that surrounds the visitors.

It opens this Saturday (December 3) until December 22 – see the website for opening times.

Tickets can be bought at the door and cost £8 per child (including Santa visit and gift) and £2 per adult.
