Healing herbs and craft fair at Geilston

A healing herb quest and craft fair are planned for Geilston Gardens next month.

They are both being organised by The Friends of Geilston, who help to protect and promote the gardens near Cardross which are owned by the National Trust for Scotland (NTS).

On Wednesday August 3 there will be herbal walks with qualified herbologist Nicky Brownrigg, suitable for families and adults.

Healing Herb Quests will set off at 10am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm and cost £5 per person (plus the usual Geilston entry fee for non-NTS members).

Spaces are limited to about ten per quest, so advanced booking is advised.

This is a Friends of Geilston event, but contact  Nicky with queries or to book at explore@herbwalks.co.uk

Then on Saturday August 6 there will be a craft fair from 11am to 4pm, with a range of local crafters’ work, as well as samba drum workshops.

NTS entry charges will apply again.

More information on both events is available herehttps://friendsofgeilston.org/events-2022/.
