Remarkable images of how the Queen’s coronation was celebrated in Cove and Kilcreggan have gone on display.
Local preparations are under way to mark the platinum anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II – more details are in this story.
And large black and white photos from 1953 have been put on display in Cove Community Library, within Cove Burgh Hall, by Rosneath Peninsula Amenity Society.
The library, which is run by volunteers after being closed by Argyll and Bute Council, is open on Mondays from 2-5pm, Wednesdays from 10am to 4pm and from 10am to 1pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
