Kilcreggan Primary pupils in parliamentary first

Jackie Baillie was delighted to join pupils from Kilcreggan Primary as they made history by taking part in the first virtual school session of the Scottish Parliament.

The Dumbarton constituency MSP was one of those who met online with the primary six and seven pupils, who asked questions including what characteristics are required to make a good politician and even what her thoughts were on the Partygate scandal at Westminster.

Jackie Baillie said: “It was a pleasure to join the children from Kilcreggan Primary as they made history by participating in the very first virtual school session organised through the Scottish Parliament.

“I want to thank the children for their insightful questions and their teacher for facilitating the session.

“I hope they took away helpful information and insight from the session and I would be delighted if, in future, we saw some of the children representing our community in the Scottish Parliament.”
