More than 91% of people aged over 40 in Argyll and Bute have had a Covid-19 booster – the third-highest proportion in Scotland.
And the figures are even higher for older residents, with 95.4% of over-80s having had the booster, 98.4% of those aged 75 to 79 and 97.5% of 70 to 74 year-olds.
The latest statistics from Public Health Scotland show that on January 21 the lowest proportion of over-40s to have had boosters was in Glasgow – 79.1%.
The highest proportion was in East Dunbartonshire – 92.7%

Across Scotland 28,956 tested positive for Covid-19 in PCR tests in the seven days ending on January 18.
In Argyll and Bute there were 373 cases, including the following neighbourhoods:
- Helensburgh West and Rhu – 45 cases
- Helensburgh North – 40
- Lomond Shore, which includes Cardross – 27
- Helensburgh Centre – 18
- Helensburgh East – 22
- Garelochhead, which includes the Rosneath Peninsula – 21
