Initial dates for Covid-19 booster vaccinations have been announced for rural areas near Helensburgh.
The drop-in sessions will be held next week – no appointment is needed but they are only for people whose second vaccination was at least six months ago.
Further dates prior to Christmas will be available at the same venues for those who are not due yet, with patients being contacted by letter for these.
The details are as follows – please note that they vary slightly for each location.
- Three Villages Hall in Arrochar, Monday November 1, 9am-6pm. For patients of Arrochar Medical Practice aged 50 or over, who received their second dose of Covid vaccine at least 24 weeks ago.
- Gibson Hall in Garelochhead, Tuesday November 2, 9am-6pm: For patients of Garelochhead Medical Practice aged 70 or over, who received their second dose of Covid vaccine at least 24 weeks ago.
- Cove Burgh Hall, Wednesday November 3, 9am-4.30pm. For patients of Kilcreggan Medical Practice aged 50 or over, who received their second dose of Covid vaccine at least 24 weeks ago.
For all clinics please wear loose or short-sleeve clothing and be prepared to wait for at least 15 minutes after your booster dose.
