Horse McDonald returns to Cove

Iconic Scottish singer Horse McDonald returns to Cove Burgh Hall this Friday evening.

She will bring her ‘trio’ show to the Rosneath Peninsula, featuring songs from The Same Sky, her debut album from 1990, as well as a selection from the rest of her back catalogue.

She is accompanied by Gemma Roberts on piano and Lorna Thomas on bass, both also singing.

A tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Same Sky was planned for last year but delayed because of the pandemic.

A painting of Horse by Roxana Halls has been acquired for the nation and is currently hanging in the Great Hall of The National Portrait Gallery of Scotland.

The Cove concert is supported by a Supported Programme Bursary from The Touring Network.

The concert starts at 8pm on Friday October 29 – tickets costing £10 are available here.
