An injured walker was rescued from Ben Lomond in blizzard conditions last night.
Police Scotland requested help from the Lomond Mountain Rescue Team after one of a party of two walkers suffered a leg injury while descending the mountain
Meeting at the base of the hill, team members headed for the location provided by the casualty.
The walkers were located in worsening weather on the plateau, quickly assessed and packaged, then carried down to Rowardennan.
Everyone was off the hill by 11.30pm.
With wintry conditions continuing this week, walkers have been asked to make sure they are ready for snow on the hills, with advice available here.
