Stand-up comedy and the sounds of European cafés are coming to Cove Burgh Hall.
Scottish stand-up comic Elvis McGonagall will be performing on Saturday March 23 – he describes himself as “a stand-up poet, armchair revolutionary, comedian, broadcaster, recumbent rocker and walking shortbread tin,”
Two series of his sitcom Elvis McGonagall Takes A Look On The Bright Side have been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and he comperes the Blue Suede Sporran Club.
Then on Saturday April 6 the Andy Lawrenson Trio promise to take you on a fantastic musical and cultural journey through the cafes and terraces of Europe with hot club swing, classical, gypsy and Celtic music, vintage song with a fresh new twist.
Tickets are £10 for both events and available from the usual outlets; there will be a bar and raffle. Doors open at 7.30pm for 8pm start.
