September date for Cove and Kilcreggan RNLI flower show

The best of blooms and baking will be on show at Cove and Kilcreggan RNLI’s annual flower show.

The event in Cove Burgh Hall will give all those keen gardeners, bakers and everyone with a creative flair an opportunity to show off their talents.

Classes include flowers, baking, jams, vegetables and a children’s section – all entries must be in by 11.45am on the day of the show, Saturday September 1, and only one entry is allowed per class.

“There will be a variety of stalls and the amazing tea room that offers a well-earned cuppa and something delicious to eat,” said a spokesperson for the local RNLI committee.
