The Portkil proposal
Two new houses in Cove and Kilcreggan have been approved by Argyll and Bute Council officials under delegated powers.
Knockderry Lodge on Barbour Road in Cove had already been knocked down before its new owners applied for permission to demolish it and build a new two-bedroom house, saying this was the most energy-efficient option.
And a new three-bedroomed house will be built on a site north-west of Portkil Lodge in Kilcreggan.
There were two objections to the Cove plan, and none to the Portkil proposal.
