Bridge inspections near Loch Lomond will mean roadworks

Roadworks next week could mean delays for drivers near Loch Lomond.

Argyll and Bute Council engineers will be inspecting the Callendoune and Dumfin bridges near the Crosskeys roundabout on the A818 between Helensburgh and Loch Lomondside on Monday, August 3.

And the next day a section of the old A82 – running parallel to the current trunk road south of Luss – will be affected.

One lane of the road will be closed during the inspections, with traffic management in place, and the work is expected to be completed between 9am and 5pm – there will be no construction work.

Overnight roadworks are currently underway on sections of the nearby A82, with Bear Scotland resurfacing the road.
