One of Shakespeare’s best known comedies will be staged at the Hill House in Helensburgh next month.
The Taming of the Shrew will be performed in the garden of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s iconic mansion by the Illyria theatre company on Saturday July 4 at 7pm.

Also on July 4, Craigrownie Parish Church in Cove is holding its annual summer fete at Cove Burgh Hall, starting at 2pm.
All the usual stalls will be on offer – home baking, fresh fruit and vegetables, bric-a-brac, cream teas, toys, face-painting, books, jewellery, tombola and many more. All welcome.
