Caught on camera – cormorants, seals and Loch Longs

The rich colours of the River Clyde in all weathers are shown in these pictures taken by Kilcreggan people in the last few days.

Fiona Holland was enjoying an evening race for the Loch Long yachts from Cove Sailing Club in some pretty dreich and windy weather – but then there was a brief moment of sun on the Holy Loch as they approached Strone mark.

And Mike McLean captured remarkably sharp imagery of local wildlife – cormorantts on the ‘sugar boat’, MV Captayannis which was caught in a storm in 1974, and seals on Perch Rock at the entrance to the Gareloch.
