A kitchen firm whose delivery lorry churned up a verge in Kilcreggan has stepped in to clear up the damage.
The Wren Kitchens lorry left deep ruts in the verge on Shore Road in Kilcreggan last Thursday.
But this morning – exactly a week later – work was underway to repair the grass verge, which is owned by Cove and Kilcreggan Trust.
Trust chairman Harry Cathcart said turf would be laid at the site and praised the company for moving so quickly after a copy of last week’s story on this website was sent to them: “This renews your faith in big business,” he added.
