A car boot sale and indoor market are being held this weekend to help the campaign for a £100,000 redevelopment of Craigrownie Park in Cove.
Craigrownie Park Group are staging the event at Cove Burgh Hall from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, May 9.
A spokesperson said donations of home baking would be welcome, adding: “We would be delighted if you could come along and support us. We have raised £62,000 so far and need another £38,000.
“We will need to sell a lot of bric-a-brac but every penny helps, so if you have not already made plans for Saturday morning why not come along, grab a bargain and a bacon roll in support of building a great park for our two villages.”
The directors of the community-run Cove Burgh Hall are asking the public to have a say on how it is run.
Past, present or future potential users of the hall are asked to complete the questionnaire at the end of this story – the form and/or any other comments and suggestions can be emailed to lesley@mihc.co.uk cbh-hall-survey-for-Friends
