Police appeal in search for missing Paul

Police are appealing for help from the public in an effort to trace a missing man as concern mounts for his well-being.

Paul Harley (53) of Whiteford Avenue, Dumbarton, has been missing since Sunday (September 28) – he is known to visit Helensburgh.

Paul is described as white, around 5ft 8 tall and of slim build. He has black receding hair, green eyes and a tattoo ‘Kyla’ on his right arm.

It is believed he left his home address on at about 11am. It is not known what he was wearing.

Paul requires medication and it is unknown if he has his medication with him. He is known to travel throughout the country by train.

“Paul is a much loved father and is well known in the local community,” said Inspector John McMillan of Police Scotland in Dumbarton.

“Extensive enquiries have been carried out since he was reported missing to Police on September 29 by a concerned family member.

“I would like to ask anyone who has seen or has had contact with Paul to contact me. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 as soon as possible”.
