Park refurbishment plans on view at meeting

A community meeting is being held this Saturday (June 28) to outline plans for a £100,000 refurbishment of Craigrownie park in Cove.

Design proposals for the project will be on view in Cove Burgh Hall with coffee, special mugs and home baking on sale to help raise funds from 11am to 1pm.

“Every name helps with fund-raising, so please come along and add your name to the petition list,” said a spokesperson for the organisers.

“We have a partnership agreement with Argyll and Bute Council, who have agreed to put £4,000 towards the £100,000 required to build the park, and we are looking to local businesses to also support the venture.”
